• 1. First Burn

We recommend a longer burn time to let the wax melts all the way to the edge of the jar at first burn. This will ensure an even burn throughout the candle and avoid tunnelling, where only part of the wax melts, creating a shorter burn life.

  • 2. Before Burning Again

On you subsequent burn, please ensure you have removed any unnecessary wick, trimming the wick to approximately 1/4 inch. This can be as simple as pinching the burnt wick away with your fingers, before it is lit of course. This will make sure the candle doesn't give off any nasty black smoke.

  • 3. Light it Up

When lighting the candle, make sure no wick trimmings or used matches in the wax.

Never burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.

  • 4. While Burning

You should always burn your candle on an even and heat resistant surface which is away from flammable objects.

Always burn your candle within sight, away from drafts and never leave it unattended. Please keep it out of reach of children and pets.

  • 5. Time to Put it Off

Never extinguish with water, it can cause hot wax to splatter and might cause the glass container to break. Extinguish the candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers or if the flame becomes too high. Let the candle cools, trim the wick and check for drafts before relighting.

  • 6. Giving a Second Life

When the candle wax is down to 1/2 inch please discontinue use. As always, we recommend you to give the container a second life as a plant holder, desk organiser or something else should you so wish.

SIT BACK & ENJOY!
